South of the Lansker Circular Trail

The Landsker (Norse word meaning frontier) Trails form a "barrier" laid out by the Normans in the 11th century by building churches, castles and villages. The Welsh people who lived here at this time were pushed back past this "barrier" in the form of an invasion.
The Normans did this to get hold of the good land in the south of the area, now know as South Pembrokeshire. Fairly easy going terrain but can be a bit wet under foot. SOUTH OF THE LANSKER Circular Walk can be walked between 4 and 6 days depending on experience and how many stops along the way you make. Can be walked in conjunction with Landsker Borderlands Trail. This would take between 9 and 12 days. If you still have some go in you these walks can then connect to the Coastal Path giving a walk of just over 300 miles, all achieved in aroundv 25 days!!
